You know where I choose some music for you to listen to!

If you haven't heard of this band I am going to be very disappointed in all of you. This band is basically one of the most phenomenal bands that this world has ever heard of.

This band is known as Pink Floyd.

I've noticed something. Out of all the things we talk about here at Nation Random, we do not talk about music.

How can we not talk about music?!?!?!

I'll tell you what, at least once a week I'm going to try and recommend some music for our readers. Now it won't be the music I listen to the most since the language is a little obscene for some people, but there is great music with out that kind of language.

The first one I have to recommend is The Who - Tommy.

This is a Rock Opera as they like to call it. Its also a movie my friends. I recommend watching.

First off, Proposition 8 was upheld in California. Despite my earlier feeling on gay marriage, I support the courts decision. As previously stated, I oppose the federal government ruling on issues that should be state by state decisions. However a state chooses to do so, I could care less. It just so happens that California lets its voters decide. The voters decided. Rightly or wrongly, they chose to strike down gay marriage. Had the court overturned this decision, it would have set a nasty precedent. Doing the wrong thing for the right reasons isn't acceptable in my book.
